I love, love, love to be able to share information about groups like the Children's Theatre of Southern Indiana (CTSI). I was in musicals from 7th grade all the way through high school, and I'm a still a big fan of musical theatre, so I'm glad to do whatever I can to support the arts and to encourage more and more people to get involved.

The mission of the Children's Theatre is to offer "an inclusive and nurturing educational experience in theatre for children and teens through classes and theatrical productions without prejudice regarding race, religion, or gender."

This month, the CTSI is putting on a virtual performance of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. The spooky classic tells the tale of Ichabod Crane and his encounter with the infamously frightening Headless Horseman. The talented young cast (see cast details below) could not be deterred by the coronavirus and COVID-19. The show must go on, and in 2020, it is going on virtually.

According the CTSI event page, the cast rehearsed through Zoom over six weekends. The show's director, Ashley Frary Lutz, worked with the cast from her home in Colorado. She also recorded the Zoom performance and edited the footage into the finished film that you can 'rent.'

The performance of Sleepy Hollow will be available to watch on video on demand this Thursday, November 5th through Sunday, November 8th. The price for a single viewer is $15...the cost for a party of two is $30...the cost of hosting a viewing party is $40. These prices will get you a 48-hour rental of the show.
