Tater Temptations Is Opening Inside Evansville's Main Street Food Hall This Week

A favorite food truck staple is now on wheels and going to be in a sit down setting too! Tater Temptations are about to open inside Evansville's If you've been looking for a new place to grab a bite in Downtown Evansville, you'll have another option starting this week.

Tater Temptations is officially opening inside the Main Street Food & Beverage food hall on Wednesday, July 29, with a grand opening at 4 p.m.*The restaurant will be taking over the space most recently occupied by Chef Lo, and before that, Nomod.

If you're a fan of loaded baked potatoes, crispy tots, and all kinds of creative potato creations, this might be your next lunch or dinner stop.

Here's What to Know Before You Go

The restaurant says it will have limited hours during its first week as the team gets settled in and brings on more staff. They'll also be paying attention to customer traffic before deciding on permanent hours.

Here's the opening week schedule:

• Wednesday, July 29: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Thursday, July 30: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Friday, July 31: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Saturday, August 1: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Sunday: Closed

One thing to keep in mind is that online ordering won't be available during opening week, so you'll need to stop by in person if you want to give them a try.
