Evansville-Area Farmstand Passport Trail Features 31 Local Stops

If you're hungry and want to take a quick adventure, grab your friends, hop in the car and get ready to discover some local hidden gems this weekend.

I am always looking for something different to do around the Tri-State, especially when it involves exploring places I may have never known existed. If you’re the same way, there is a pretty fun excuse to get out of the house this weekend.

The Farmstand Passport Trail is happening September 18 through September 20, bringing together 31 local farmstands, home bakers, makers, farms and small businesses throughout Evansville and the surrounding Tri-State.

And the best part? You get to choose your own adventure.

How the Farmstand Passport Trail Works

The Farmstand Passport Trail runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Before you start exploring, you’ll need to pick up an official Farmstand Passport and trail map while supplies last. You can grab one at one of three starting locations:

The Porchside Pantry: 1121 Schroeder Road, Evansville
The Kneading Neighbor: 4300 Pine Drive, Newburgh
Kookie Kelly: 2431 Glenview Drive, Evansville

Once you have your passport, there is no required route or order. Pick the stops that sound good to you, load up the car and go at your own pace. As you visit participating locations, you can collect a stamp or sticker in your passport.

Look at it like a giant local scavenger hunt, except instead of finding clues, you’re finding cookies and sourdough and that's even better in my opinion.

There Are 31 Stops to Explore

There is going to be a LOT to find along the trail. Depending on where you stop, you could come across sourdough bread, cookies, cakes, cake pops, brownies, jams and jellies, farm-fresh eggs, produce, honey, candy, freeze-dried treats, handmade products, gifts, flowers, home fragrances and more.

Participating businesses are spread throughout Evansville, Newburgh, Boonville, Chandler, Mount Vernon, Haubstadt, Wadesville, Princeton, Oakland City and even Mount Carmel, Illinois.

One name on the list might already sound familiar if you’ve been following along with me: Laci's Snack Shack.

I recently wrote about my own adventure checking out Laci’s Snack Shack and what you can expect when you visit.

Check out my personal adventure to Laci's Snack Shack here.

So, if that story made you want to check it out for yourself, this weekend gives you the perfect excuse and you can discover plenty of other local spots along the way.

A Weekend for Shopping Small

More than anything, the Farmstand Passport Trail is meant to shine a light on the people behind these small local businesses.

Even if you don’t make it to all 31 stops which would be quite the weekend accomplishment you can create a route that works for you and visit as many as you’d like.

Every purchase, visit, share and follow helps support the families and individuals running these businesses right here in our area.

The 2026 Farmstand Passport Trail is hosted by The Porchside Pantry and runs September 18-20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Grab a passport, bring a friend and maybe leave a little extra room in the car for all the goodies you’re probably going to bring home.
