Thumbs Up Emoji = I Don’t Care About You

Facebook messenger has this button that people can push ...and I am just going to say it- It's offensive. It basically says, "I don't care enough about what you are saying to give you a response, I am just going to hit this dumb thumbs up button."

It is the same thing as me sending you a thoughtful 2-6 sentence message and you send me an "ok".  

come on!!

My best friend Abbey knows I have destain for this rude gesture and she sent me two yesterday. I am reevaluating this relationship.
