Proud Daughter Brags About Her Hard-Working Mom During Nurse’s Week

MY105.3 and Diamond Valley Federal Credit Union want to shine the spotlight on some of the amazing nurses here in the Tri-State. We asked you to nominate a special nurse and tell us what makes them so special. Each day this week - which happens to be Nurse's Week - we will randomly select a different nominated nurse and share their story online and on the air. The five nurses we choose will also be qualified to win a getaway to the French Lick Resort in French Lick, Indiana.

For Tuesday, May 11th, we want to recognize BOBBI LITTLEPAGE. Bobbi works in the Case Management department at St. Vincent's, and she was nominated by her daughter, Katie. Here's what Katie has to say about her mom...

My mom has worked at St. Vincent (St. Mary’s) for over 15 years. She went back to school to become a nurse when I was in grade school, it was hard but she made it work and since then has went on to get her bachelors degree and move up the ladder in her career. She has recently switched to the case management department and helps patients that are being discharged with all their needs for when they leave the hospital. She is constantly going out of her way to make sure her patients have everything they need, even if it means staying late or going in early. She is loved and appreciated by all her colleagues and she is definitely deserving a night away of relaxation!
