This Owensboro Orchard Is Turning Into a Music Festival for One Night Only
Owensboro's Orchard Music Fest Is Back
If you're looking for a fun way to spend a late summer evening, you might want to head across the river to Owensboro later this month.
One of the area's newest music festivals is making a return, and it sounds like the perfect excuse to enjoy some live music while taking in the scenery at one of Owensboro's favorite local spots.

Live Music at Reid's Orchard
The 2nd Annual Orchard Music Festival is happening Friday, August 22, at Reid's Orchard, located at 4818 KY-144 in Owensboro.
Gates open at 4 p.m., the music kicks off at 5 p.m., and the night wraps up with the headlining performance on the main stage at 9 p.m.

More Than Just a Concert
This isn't your typical concert where everyone stays in one place.
Organizers say Reid's Orchard will transform into a multi-stage music festival with three different stages spread throughout the property. Guests are encouraged to walk around the farm, discover different performers, and enjoy the atmosphere as music fills the orchard.

Whether you're planning a date night, getting together with friends, or bringing the family along, the event is designed to be fun for all ages.

Food, Drinks, and Local Music
Of course, no summer festival is complete without good food.
You'll find a variety of food trucks, beverage vendors, and a beer garden available throughout the evening while you enjoy the performances.
This year's lineup includes:
- Cole Kidwell and the Still Unknown
- Generation Jones
- Galactic Foghorn
- Bourbon Roots
- Andy Brasher Band
With several bands performing throughout the evening, there will always be something to hear as you explore the festival grounds.

What You Need to Know
Admission is $20 per vehicle, making it an affordable outing whether you're coming by yourself or piling a few friends into the car.
As summer starts winding down, this could be one of those easy, laid-back evenings that checks all the boxes: live music, local food, beautiful scenery, and plenty of room to wander.
If you've never experienced live music at Reid's Orchard, this might be the perfect year to check it out.
