Video Shows a Meteor Explode Over St. Louis, Missouri Area Friday
Not many witnessed it, but a sky camera captured the moment when a big meteor exploded in the sky over St. Louis, Missouri early Friday morning.
According to the American Meteor Society website, only 4 people reported seeing a fireball over the St. Louis, Missouri region at approximately 3:27am on Friday, October 4, 2024. William Mattison of Lost in the Ozarks had his sky camera activated and captured video so you can see it for yourself.
According to William's YouTube description, his camera is located to the south near Bull Shoals Lake looking northward. That's why he was able to grab video of this big meteor exploding in Earth's atmosphere.
