Goodwill Glam with Katelyn Was a Whole Summer Vibe

I have to say, this Goodwill Glam contest has always been an absolute blast and totally right up my alley. Maybe it’s because I get to shop and help turn “trash into treasure,” or maybe it’s because I get to meet and hang out with some really amazing people every single month. Either way, it’s one of my favorite things we do, and our June winner definitely did not disappoint.

Katelyn Came Ready to Shop

Katelyn Mehringer was our June Goodwill Glam winner, and from the second we got started, she was ready to shop until she dropped. That's exactly what she did.

Katelyn actually heard about the contest from a coworker, Stephanie, who won in May. Stephanie told her she had to apply because it was so much fun and she knew Katelyn would love it. Safe to say, Stephanie was absolutely right.

Katelyn had a cart filled to the top with fun finds for just about every occasion, and she was seriously so much fun to shop for.

Vacation Looks? Covered.

One of Katelyn’s big goals was finding some cute, colorful outfits for a beach vacation she’s taking at the end of July. She wanted pieces that screamed “I’m on vacation,” and I think it’s safe to say we understood the assignment. We found some bright, fun outfits that are absolutely going to make it into that suitcase, and I have a feeling she is going to be packed and ready for beach mode.

From Beach Trip to Camping Trip

Another thing I loved about shopping with Katelyn is how many different parts of her life we got to shop for. She loves camping and hunting with her husband and kids, so we made sure to find some cozy and practical pieces for that too.

We found cute camping gear to keep her warm in the fall, a camo hoodie for hunting season, and of course some adorable pajamas for those camping nights. It was one of those shopping trips where every item felt like it matched a different piece of her personality.

Cute, Comfortable, and Work-Ready

Katelyn also wears business casual to work every day, so another goal was finding outfits that were cute and comfortable at the same time. I think we definitely nailed that one too.

We found some really cute pants and fun blouses, including a few tops that reminded Katelyn of Kitty from That ’70s Show, which honestly felt so fitting. Katelyn totally had that sweet, bubbly energy, and she really did channel her inner Kitty in the best way.

She’s a busy mom who doesn’t always get time to shop for herself, so it was really fun getting to give her that moment and help her pick out things that felt like HER.

Two Bags Full of Katelyn

By the end of our Goodwill Glam adventure, Katelyn walked away with two bags full of finds that felt so perfectly her. We’re talking a hunting hoodie, pajama sets, a plant lady shirt because yes, she loves her plants, beach dresses, swimsuit cover-ups, business casual outfits, and so much more.

Everything we picked out was all about helping Katelyn feel confident, comfortable, and like the best version of herself. And honestly, that’s what I love most about Goodwill Glam. It’s not just about clothes. It’s about helping someone feel seen, stylish, and excited about what they’re wearing.

Good News… We’re Not Done Yet

I absolutely loved shopping with Katelyn. It did not take me long at all to pick up on her style, and by the end of it, I felt like I had made a new friend.

And I’ve got even more good news… Goodwill Glam is continuing for another three months!
