Megan Smith is a crazy talented craft maker, a super mom, and all around kind hearted human who runs her own crafty business, Stitched from the Crypt.  This year she is helping to make Halloween a little more inclusive! All kids should get to express themselves, and be whatever they want for Halloween, and she's making sure every kid gets that chance.

This year she's making costumes that are specifically designed to comfortably and easily fit over wheelchairs.  Without going into too many details Megan explained to me that this is something that is very near to her heart, as her family spent time at Riley Children's Hospital in the past. She said with their years of going to Riley she saw the struggle that many parents go through to get costumes or coats onto their kids who use wheelchairs.  So she decided to help by creating costumes that easily fit over a wheelchair, while still allowing kids to express themselves for Halloween!

She said on top of costumes that fit over a wheelchair, she also can make them to fit over a stroller, car seat, and baby carriers too.  She also is happy to take custom orders and create other styles and characters too.  You can check out more of her work, here!
