Evansville Raptor Con Is Looking for Local College Students to Join the Team

Back-to-School Season Brings a New Opportunity for Local College Students

Whether you’re in school yourself or you have a kid who is, you know another school year has officially kicked off. And somehow, when school is back in session, life  just seems to get busier even if you haven’t stepped foot in a classroom in years.

College campuses are filling back up, student organizations are getting together and there are plenty of opportunities to meet new people and get involved. And if you’re a college student who also happens to love all things pop culture, Evansville Raptor Con could use your help.

College students and pop culture fans now have a new way to get involved with one of Evansville’s biggest fan events and there are some Raptor Con perks involved, too.

If your interests include comics, cosplay, gaming, collectibles, anime or pretty much anything pop culture, Evansville Raptor Con may have a job for you — well, sort of.

The team behind Raptor Con is currently looking for Raptor Con Ambassadors to help spread the word about the upcoming event on college and university campuses around the area.

 What Is a Raptor Con Ambassador?

Think of it as becoming Raptor Con's go-to person on your campus.

Ambassadors will help get flyers and information about the event in front of fellow students, talk up Raptor Con around campus and make sure students know what's coming to Evansville.

It's an opportunity that could be especially fun for students who are already plugged into their campus community or involved with clubs and organizations centered around gaming, comics, anime, cosplay or other fandoms.

And, of course, helping Raptor Con spread the word comes with some Raptor Con perks along the way.

You Don't Have to Just Attend Raptor Con You Can Be Part of It

For local college students who already planned on checking out Raptor Con, becoming an ambassador gives you a chance to get a little more involved behind the scenes.

Raptor Con is looking for enthusiastic students and local fans who aren't afraid to spread the word and help build excitement leading up to the event.

The goal is pretty simple: get Raptor Con all over local campuses.
