ABBA Tribute Band Coming Back to Evansville This Fall

I saw the headline for this and instantly got excited. If you’re an ABBA fan, you’re going to want to add this one to your fall calendar.

MANIA: The ABBA Tribute is coming back to Evansville for a night filled with disco, dancing and some of the Swedish pop group’s biggest hits.

The show is scheduled for Thursday, October 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Victory Theatre in downtown Evansville. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Get Ready to Become a Dancing Queen for the Night

MANIA isn’t new to the ABBA tribute scene, either. The group formed in London in 1999 and has been performing ABBA’s music for more than 25 years. Since then, they’ve performed more than 4,000 shows in 40 countries.

Basically, they know their ABBA.

The show features plenty of songs you’ll recognize, including “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” “Waterloo,” “Fernando” and “Take a Chance on Me.”

I mean, for a couple of hours, you might as well pretend you’ve stepped straight into *Mamma Mia!* Grab your friends, wear something sparkly and prepare to sing along.

MANIA Is Returning to Evansville

If MANIA sounds familiar, there’s a reason. This isn’t the tribute band’s first trip to Evansville. The group previously performed here in 2024, and now they’re coming back for another night of ABBA favorites.

There’s also something about ABBA that just never seems to go out of style. Their music has been around for decades, but thanks to generations of fans — and, of course, the continued popularity of Mamma Mia! songs like “Dancing Queen” can still get an entire room singing.

Whether you’ve loved ABBA since the ’70s, discovered them through *Mamma Mia!*, or you’re simply incapable of sitting still when “Dancing Queen” comes on, this sounds like a pretty fun night out in downtown Evansville.

Front Row View of Blues Traveler in Concert at The Victory Theatre

On September 21, 2021, Blues Traveler came to the Victory Theatre in Evansville while on tour promoting their new album Traveler's Blues. The remainder of that tour was canceled just a few days later after frontman John Popper was injured in a bus accident.
