A Cheez-It House Kit Is Shaking Up Holiday Traditions
The Holiday Treat That Has Everyone Talking
It’s officially that time of year where we all start leaning into our holiday traditions — baking cookies, decorating the house, and pretending calories don’t exist between now and New Year’s. But listen… not *every* holiday-themed creation deserves to be called a “treat.” And I found one that really made me question everything.
A Scroll That Took a Turn
So I’m scrolling through social media the other day — as one does when you’re hungry and thinking about snacks — and I stumble across a gingerbread house kit. Cute, festive, normal… right?
Meet the Cheez-It House
Wrong.
This one is now being sold at Walmart and instead of being made out of gingerbread… it’s made out of **Cheez-Its**. Yes. A Cheez-It house. A bright orange, crunchy, cheesy holiday cottage.
The Flavor Combo Nobody Asked For
Now, that part alone didn’t throw me off too much — Cheez-Its are delicious. But here’s where things get *weird*: it still comes with icing, candy, and sprinkles. So you’re telling me we’re pairing cheddar crackers with gumdrops and peppermint? My taste buds are confused and concerned.
Do We… Try It?
And here’s the embarrassing part… I kind of want to try it. I genuinely want to know if the flavors somehow compliment each other or if this is just chaos in a box.
A Holiday House Reality Check
But it also made me stop and wonder: are we even supposed to *eat* gingerbread houses? Because growing up, the routine was: build the house, take a picture, and then slowly eat off all the toppings like tiny sugar thieves.
Maybe I’m the Weird One
So maybe I’m the weird one here — but I’m still tempted to hit Walmart and grab the Cheez-It Gingerbread House Kit just to see what kind of holiday magic (or disaster) this thing really is.
