Week five of the high school football season is in the books, and now you get to decide who put on the best performance from this past weekend’s games.

It won’t be easy, as these six young men each put up really impressive numbers to help lead their respective teams to victory.

Nick Sellers - Quarterback, Gibson Southern

The Titans continued their dominance against the previously unbeaten Princeton Tigers Friday night with a 58-16 victory. QB Nick Sellers led the way with a mind-boggling 19 completions on 24 attempts for 303 yards and SEVEN, count 'em SEVEN touchdown passes. He also added an eighth touchdown while running for 43 yards on 11 attempts.

Miles Burkins - Linebacker, Castle

The first defensive player to be nominated for our Player of the Week, Burkins was dominate in the Knights' 42-13 win over Central recording a team-high eight tackles, one fumble recovery, an interception returned for a touchdown, and a blocked field goal returned for a touchdown.

Tias Stewart - Running Back, Central

Despite the loss to Castle, Stewart was his usual impressive self for the Bears. He picked up 217 yards on 18 attempts and found the end zone twice.

Drayke Richardt - Running Back, Mater Dei

Richardt's night was done early in the third quarter of the Wildcats' 42-14 win over the North Huskies thanks to the damage he did in the first half. The running back picked up 140 yards total, but 112 of them took place over the first two quarters while scoring his two touchdowns on the night.

Kenton Crews - Heritage Hills

The Patriots' everything-man had his way with the North Posey defense running for 132 yards on just 10 carries, three of which crossed the goal line for scores. He also added four receptions for 112 yards and another TD.
