Week eight of the high school football season is in the books, and now you get to decide who put on the best performance from this past weekend’s games.

It won’t be easy, as these five young men each put up really impressive numbers to help lead their respective teams to victory.

Nick Sellers - Quarterback, Gibson Southern

The machine that is the Gibson Southern Titans continued to steamroll anyone that gets in front of them as they dominated Tell City Friday Night with a 77-16. QB Nick Sellers put up another impressive performance, ending the night with a 100-percent completion rate after completing all seven of his passes for 190 yards, four of which ended in touchdowns. He also carried the ball twice, finding the end zone both times for 11 yards.

Nolan O'Brien - Running Back, Southridge

The Southridge Raiders are 6-2 after a 42-14 win over Pike Central thanks to the legs of O'Brien who carried the ball 11 times for 176 yards and two scores. He also did some damage receiving, taking both his receptions to the house for 74 yards.

Dayne Keller - Quarterback, Castle

The Knights bounced back with at 51-0 win over the North Huskie after an unbelievable loss to Harrison in week seven; a game in which they led 38-7 at the half, only to lose 39-38. Keller ended his night with 256 yards after completing 11 of his 17 passes, throwing six touchdowns in the process.

Drayke Richardt - Running Back, Mater Dei

The Wildcats remain undefeated on the season thanks to another stellar performance by Richardt who racked up over 300 all-purpose yards against the Central Bears Friday evening. Richardt carried the ball 29 times for 225 yards and three scores on the ground while adding four receptions for another 71 yards and a score through the air.

Camdon Cartwright - Running Back, Boonville

At this point, I've lost track of how many times Cartwright has found himself nominated for Player of the Week. Each week, he proves himself to be one of the best players in the area, and he showed it again Friday night during the Pioneers 47-24 win over South Spencer. The stud back put up his fourth 200-plus yard game of the season with 227 yards on 14 attempts, finding the end zone four times in the process.

Cast your vote below and be listening during Friday's Ford & O'Bryan Show to find out who won.

VOTING CLOSES AT 3PM ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16TH
