Vote for Egidijus Mockevicius as Hero Sports “Hero of the Week”

After impressive performances during The Wooden Legacy tournament, the University of Evansville Men's Basketball team's big man has been nominated for "Hero of the Week" by Hero Sports.com.

In three games, the 6'10" Lithuanian averaged a double-double with 15.3 rebounds and 14 points while also averaging 2.7 blocks.

The potential honor won't be the first of the season for Egidijus as he was named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week on November 16th. He currently sits second in the country in rebounds behind LSU phenom, and presumptive first overall pick in next year's NBA Draft, Ben Simmons, with an average of 13.7. His 2.7 blocks over the first seven games is good for 13th in the nation.
