The 10th Annual National Theater on Ice Competition will take place in downtown Evansville at the Ford Center on June 21 through 25.  With over 1,300 participating athletes, it will be the largest amateur sporting event Evansville has hosted to date.

Hosting the competition will take approximately 136 volunteers each day to run the event at the Ford Center as well as the practice ice at Swonder Ice Arena.  Volunteer activities will include checking in teams, monitoring locker rooms, serving as ice monitors and assisting with basic medical care in the event of an emergency at Swonder and the Ford Center. Volunteers are also needed to assist with audio needs, such as cuing-up music played during practice at Swonder. All volunteers must be at least 16-years-old. Some volunteers must be 18-years-old, depending on their duties and responsibilities.

Volunteers should sign-up online here. For more information on the 2017 National Theatre on Ice competition, visit: www.2017nationaltoi.com.
