Evansville Regional Airport Offering Local TSA PreCheck Enrollment
There are a lot of benefits to flying out of Evansville Regional Airport. More seasonal flights have been added, and there is a process to get you through TSA faster.
TSA PreCheck only takes about fifteen minutes, but you'll want to start the process online.
What is TSA PreCheck?
TSA PreCheck gives you the freedom to keep your shoes on through airport security. Some people absolutely hate the thought of taking their shoes off, even if it is just long enough to walk through security. I always feel like I'm going to trip and fall or just forget to put them back on. For that reason alone, TSA PreChek might be worth the price.
- Keep your shoes on
- Your laptop can stay in its bag
- Keep your belt on
- 3-1-1 liquids can stay in your bag
- Keep your light jacket on
There is a nominal fee and that keeps you qualified for five years.
Obviously, this doesn't guarantee your status if you do something to kick yourself off of the list.
