Downtown Evansville, Indiana Introduces Ambassador Program

The Evansville Improvement District (EID) is launching a brand-new Downtown Ambassador program, and we want YOU to be involved! We are looking for friendly and energetic individuals who can help visitors as they shop, dine, and explore Downtown Evansville.

As an ambassador, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming neighborhood by serving as the go-to person for questions, directions, and recommendations during large events Downtown. Your presence will ensure that guests have a positive and memorable experience.

Details:

2-hour shifts
Shifts are completed in pairs - encourage a friend to sign up with you!
All shifts take place outdoors
Ambassadors are provided with supplemental materials, including Downtown Evansville maps and a brief training manual, to assist in answering questions

Saturday, September 14 (5-7 PM) - Evansville Raptor Con
Saturday, September 21 (11 AM - 1 PM) - Dog Day Downtown and WNIN Kids Fest
Friday, September 27 (5-7 PM) - A Fleetwood Mac Tribute and Parker McCollum
Saturday, October 5 (8:30-10:30 AM) - Evansville Half Marathon
Saturday, October 26 (11 AM - 1 PM) - Halloween Stroll & Trunk or Treat Car Show
Saturday, November 2 (5-7 PM) - Lainey Wilson
Sunday, November 10 (5-7 PM) - Jelly Roll
Saturday, November 30 (11 AM - 1 PM) - Small Business Saturday and Hadi Shrine Circus
Monday, December 2 (5-7 PM) - Straight No Chaser

*The above dates were chosen based on the events schedule of our Downtown venues.
Having Ambassadors present on these dates will be beneficial for the anticipated large crowds.
