What is it about Nashville structures and how they appear on TV or in movies? In 1993, the late River Phoenix starred in The Thing Called Love, a movie about making it in Music City.

While it was a box office flop, it did feature an early appearance by Sandra Bullock and a cameo from Trisha Yearwood, who played herself. There was a seen shot inside the legendary Bluebird Café. When I saw the movie, I had never been. But when I finally checked it out, it was a lot smaller than it appeared in the film.

Flash forward to about nine years ago. I was in Brentwood, a Nashville suburb, and decided to see where Trisha shot her series, Trisha's Southern Kitchen. Again, the house in question appeared smaller than it did on the small screen. Of course, there's nothing "small" about it, but that's how it looked in person. Well now, that home, where so many amazing recipes were prepared, is on the market.

What's Next for Trisha Yearwood and Her 'Food Network' Series?

Trisha tells Country Living that the main home she shares with husband Garth Brooks will be the new location shoot for her series; they plan to build a kitchen on their property like her proclaimed heroes Ree Drummond and Ina Garten--Food Network icons.

Built in the 1920s, the suburban Nashville residence has been a major supporting character for 17 seasons worth of Trisha's Southern Kitchen. But no more. It's been a while since there was a new episode of the series, and fans will now have to wait a little longer.
