Come on out, whether as a participant or as a spectator, for the 2nd annual BrewMile presented by SWIRCA, this Saturday at Bosse Field.

As the name suggests, this SWIRCA fundraiser involves trekking a mile, whether by walking, jogging or running, while consuming beer. Participants, both individuals and teams, begin by chugging a beer. They must then complete a lap around the course in the parking lot of historic Bosse Field. After each lap, you gots to drink another beer.

Three BrewMile Categories:

  1. Competitive– This race is for the serious runners. The fastest Male and Female runners will become the King and Queen of the BrewFest and receive a prize package including VIP tickets!
  2. Relay– Groups of four people each drinking one beer and running a quarter mile (1 lap).
  3. Fun Run– Not a serious runner? No problem! Want to walk the race?! This is the race for you. Run, walk, skip, do whatever you need to do to finish the race! The fun run will still consist of four beers and four laps. Costumes are encouraged!

Registration begins at 5pm and the BrewMile begins at 6pm. You are more than welcome to simply come out and watch this extravaganza! There will also be a beer garden and food vendors.
