Play By Play Schedule – Week of September 7th

This week you get to hear plenty of Chicago Cubs baseball, plus more high school football and the NFL season officially gets under way! See the schedule below.

Tuesday, September 8th

The Cubs continue a 3-game series in St. Louis. Coverage of game 2 starts at 6:50pm, followed by the first pitch at 7:15pm.

Wednesday, September 9th

The Cubbies wrap up a crucial series against the Cardinals with game 3 starting at 12:45pm. Pre-game coverage starts at 12:20pm.

Thursday, September 10th

• The Cubs are still on the road - this time heading to Philadelphia for a 4-game series against the Phillies. The pre-game show for game 1 starts at 5:40pm. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:05pm.
• You can hear coverage of the NFL season opener between the Steelers and Patriots on our sister station Newstalk 1280, WGBF starting at 6;45pm.

Friday, September 11th

• The Cubs and Phillies continue their 4-game series, starting at 5:40pm. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:05pm.
• If you're looking for high school football, you can find that on our sister station. Ford & O'Bryan will call the Mater Dei vs. Memorial game on Newstalk 1280, WGBF. Their pre-game show starts at 6:30pm, followed by kick-off at 7pm.

Saturday, September 12th

• Hear game 3 between the Cubs and Phillies. Pre-game coverage at 5:40pm, followed by the first pitch at 6:05pm.

Sunday, September 13th

• The Colts kick begin their season on the road in Buffalo. The Countdown to Kickoff starts at 11am. The Colts vs. Bills game kicks off at 12n.
• We have more NFL on Sunday night as the New York football Giants head to Dallas to face the Cowboys. Coverage of Sunday Night Football starts at 6:30pm.
