Over 40 Outback Steakhouse and Bonefish Grill Restaurants Closing Nationwide

Recently, Bloomin' Brands - parent company of Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, and Carrabba's announced they would be closing over 40 of their restaurants nationwide.  Will this affect our local Evansville restaurants? 

This announcement made me upset because I love both restaurants and recently ate at our local Evansville Bonefish Grill.  (The Bang Bang Shrimp is one of my favorites!) So, first, I made a call to Bonefish Grill, located at 6401 East Lloyd Expressway and Burkhardt Rd.  I spoke to Jordan and she told me that this location definitely would be staying open!

Next, I called the Outback Steakhouse, located at 7201 E. Indiana on the East side on the Lloyd Expressway and spoke with Manager, Kenneth Lutz.  He said that they will be staying open, too!  My son's first job was at Outback Steakhouse, so, I have some sentimental ties at this place.  Their steaks and Bloomin' Onion have always been favorites of mine.  The news of them staying open will make us all bloomin' happy!
