Southern Indiana’s Premiere Outdoor Venue Announces 2024 Performance Series
Thrill-seekers from all around the country come to Spencer County each year to visit one of Southern Indiana's most popular destinations - Holiday World & Splashin' Safari. Music fans, however, have a different reason to visit Spencer County. They come to experience one of the best outdoor entertainment venues in all the land - Lincoln Amphitheatre.
Lincoln Amphitheatre's roots go all the way back to 1959 when the Lincoln Club of Southern Indiana was formed by a group of women who wanted to study and preserve the history of Lincoln’s formative years spent in Spencer County.

Nearly three decades later, in 1987, the amphitheatre opened for its first season. Since then Lincoln Amphitheatre has become one of the largest fully-covered amphitheaters in the United States. The 1,500-seat venue is located at 15032 E. County Rd 1500 in Lincoln City (the boyhood home of Abraham Lincoln), just off of I-64 between Evansville, IN, and Louisville, KY.
