Evansville Philharmonic Is Hosting a Romantic Night This Fall

If you’ve ever wanted to experience the Victory Theatre in a way most people never do, the Evansville Philharmonic has something pretty special planned this fall.

The Philharmonic is hosting Their Rhythm, Their Romance: A Prelude to Opening Night on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, and it sounds like a really unique evening in one of Evansville’s most beautiful historic spaces. This is a 21 and older fundraising event that helps support the Philharmonic’s artistic and educational programs, but it also doubles as a kickoff to the orchestra’s 2026-2027 season.

Dinner on the Victory Theatre Stage? Yes, Really

Instead of just attending a performance from the audience, guests will actually have the chance to enjoy dinner and the evening’s festivities on the stage at the Victory Theatre. It’s one of those events that feels a little extra special because you’re getting to experience a landmark venue from a totally different perspective.

The evening will feature dinner, live performances, and a celebration of the season ahead, with acclaimed musicians Lucia Micarelli and Eric Byers set to perform. If those names sound familiar, they should. Both artists are also part of the Philharmonic’s official Opening Night concert just a few days later on September 19.

Guests will have two seating options for the fundraiser. There will be an exclusive onstage dining experience for those who want to be right in the middle of it all, plus general admission balcony seating for another way to take in the night inside the historic theater.

This event is designed to set the tone for the Philharmonic’s new season, and based on the lineup already announced, there’s a lot to look forward to.
