You can convert a small portion of your lawn into a wildflower sanctuary for birds, bees and wildlife and Tri-State Interfaith Creation Care is offering three classes to teach you how! It's no secret to anyone the importance of bees and other pollinators. They are imperative to our ecosystem and our food supply! That being said, their natural habitats are getting fewer and farther between but you can help by planting wildflowers in a small portion of your yard. You can email to sign up for one of the classes listed below. All the information you need to get started and a seed packet will be provided to you at the class.

  • Monday, April 30th at 6:30 pm at All Saints Church, 704 N. 1st Ave, Evansville
  • Thursday, May 3rd at 6:30 pm at Central Library, Browning Room A, 200 SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Evansville
  • Tuesday, May 8th at 6:30 pm at the Hub, 2025 W. Franklin St., Evansville

Get out there and plant some wildflowers and save the bees!
