Wild Summer Lights Returns to Evansville

One of the most magical events of 2025 is back! Wild Summer Lights has returned to Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden and continues through October 4!

What to Expect at This Year’s Event

Each night, once the zoo closes, it transforms into a glowing wonderland featuring more than a mile of stunning Chinese lantern displays. Created in partnership with Tianyu Arts & Culture, Inc., these larger-than-life displays blend art, culture, and nature into a truly unforgettable nighttime experience. It’s like stepping into another world, without leaving Evansville. In addition to the lanterns,  guests can enjoy live performances from local musicians, plus a rotating lineup of food trucks.

Win Wild Summer Lights Tickets From MY105.3

Each day at 7am, during the MY Morning Show with Bobby & Callie, we will ask you to call 812-421-1117 and play a game we call Wild Wordplay. We'll give you the first part of a well-known animal euphemism, and you'll have to finish it to win. For example, "You can't teach an old dog new..." You know the rest, right?

2026 Wild Summer Lights Dates and Hours

The event runs Thursday through Sunday from 6pm-10pm. A separate ticket is required for Wild Summer Lights, and we're giving you a chance to win some all this week!
