Growing up in Kentucky, I was pretty much born to be a "horse girl." In fact, in fifth grade, we spent a whole semester learning about horses and even got to visit the Kentucky Horse Park. In Kentucky, the first Saturday in May is practically a holiday here. We celebrate the greatest two minutes in sports!

From Horses to Hats: A Kentucky Derby Tradition

I’ve been lucky enough to attend the Kentucky Derby a few times, and let me tell you, the hats are always the biggest topic of conversation. There are some stunning, classy ones, but also a few that are... well, let's just say creative (or sometimes even a little cringy).

One of my favorite traditions each spring is going through the photos from our photography service and picking out the best hats of the season.
