It seems like companies are doing promotions like this just about every day. You know the ones where they post on social media about a job opening for a ridiculously amazing, temporary, well-paying job in the hopes that people like me will share it. Yep, this is just like those jobs.

This time, a company is looking for a whole team that will get paid to binge-watch true crime shows. Maybe, it could be you and your friends.

I know several of my own friends and family that would love to get paid to watch these types of shows. They watch them all of the time anyway, might as well get paid to watch. For the second year in a row, the website MagellanTV.com is temporarily hiring someone to turn the passion for true crime into cash. Last year, they paid one person $1000, this year they want to pay a team of three people to spend 24 hours watching true crime TV and get paid $2,400, each.

According to the website, this is what they are looking for,

• Our ideal candidates live for True Crime.
• They can handle the most menacing serial killer, the goriest details, and don’t flinch at the chilling paranormal.
• And they love it so much that they’re willing to stream it nonstop for 24 hours.
• Along with watching, they’ll be documenting their True Crime all-nighter on social media so everyone will see if they can hack it… or not.

 

I know what you are thinking, what if I fall asleep? Well, it's ok if you do, you just have to binge watch for 24 hours, but they give you 48 hours total to complete the job.

I'm not sure this is MY dream job, but offer me a job watching anything to do with Bridgerton, and I'm all in. In fact, I would probably do it for free.
