There's really only one way to experience what it was like to fly in a plane during WWII, and that's to actually fly in one! The excitement about the Warbird Weekend has spread so fast, that the planes are now flying in on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. This will allow for more flight times, but they are filling up quickly.

The ONLY way to book flights is through the Texas Raiders. The Evansville Wartime Museum will not be selling the flights. If you are not able to get a flight (They are booking fast) you can always enjoy an onboard tour of the Commemorative Air Force WWII planes.

Ground tours will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 8-11, excluding flying times.

A limited number of flights are available on the warbirds. Seats on the T6 are $380, $495 for the B17, and $100 for the Twin Beech.

Admission to the event is $20 per person and includes full admission to the museum and on-board tours of the visiting warbirds. Passengers purchasing flights will also need to pay admission into the museum.
