Ellen DeGeneres’ Dad Passed Away [Video]

During the Ellen Show this week, Ellen announced that her dear father had passed away.  

I immediately started reflecting back on my own dad as soon as I saw Ellen’s tweet about her father. Some of us, like me, have lost their dad’s and it’s so very heartbreaking.   My own dad passed away 6 years ago Friday, Jan. 12th of COPD and leukemia.  I’m truly grateful and thankful that I had him around until he reached 77 years old.
