Every year since 1993, Holiday World & Splashin' Safari has hosted 'Play Day',  a special day when they are open only for the guests of the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center of Evansville. The annual event raises many to support projects for area children with disabilities at Easterseals. Last year, Play Day raised $36,000! That money was used to make major improvements to Will's Way 2, the therapeutic outdoor play space at the Milestones Children’s Center. Will’s Way 2 is named for Will Koch, Holiday World's late owner and president, who started Play Day back in 1993.

Holiday World welcomed 3,100 children with disabilities to Play Day 2019. The admissions went to Easterseals and totaled more than 33,500, and brought the 27-year total to more than $500,000.
