Downtown Evansville welcomed a new business and said goodbye to another in the same week.

What Was The 7Mile Lounge Experience?

The 7 Mile Club opened its doors in January of 2023, and sadly, just announced that the club is now closed. The whole concept behind the 25+ club was to cater to those of us of a certain age. We like to go out after work, but the Evansville bar scene is a little crowded with younger folks. They held special theme nights, different styles of music, and offered memberships.

Message From the Owners:

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of 7Mile Lounge. 7ML has been more than just a place to unwind; it's been a hub for community, laughter, and unforgettable memories. From late-night conversations to celebratory toasts, each moment spent within these walls has been cherished. We want to express our deepest gratitude to our loyal patrons, dedicated staff, and everyone who has been a part of the 7Mile family. Though our doors may be closing, the spirit of 7ML will live on in the friendships formed, the laughter shared, and the memories created. Thank you for being a part of this journey. Farewell. Ever since Jason Kelce made his emotional retirement announcement, the former Eagles Center has embraced the post-football life. Having grown up in Ohio and playing College Football at the University of Cincinnati, some would think Jason Kelce would spend his post-career years back at home, but he has chosen to live in New Jersey.

Thanks to his wife Kylie growing up in the Suburban Philadelphia area and playing his entire NFL career for the Eagles, Jason Kelce has now planted his life here in Eagles Country. After vacationing in Sea Isle City for years, the Kelces have purchased a Beach House in South Jersey. Makes sense considering Sea Isle City is one of the 50 Best Places to Retire in New Jersey and one of the best towns to live in Cape May County.
