When my own children were infants, I didn't have to worry about their weight because they were either in the normal percentile range or off the charts!  My grandson, Roman is in the 2% weight range for four month old's, according to his pediatrician.

Last week, Jaclyn took Roman to the pediatrician for his 4 month check up and he weighed in at 12 lbs. 8 oz. Her pediatrician told her he should weigh more!

My response to this was isn't he healthy?  She replied yes.  So, knowing my daughter and how much she worries, is this something she should really be concerned about?  Roman weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. at birth and has gained 1 pound a month since July 31st.

Jaclyn has been breast feeding him since birth and just yesterday introduced him to some baby cereal and apparently he loves it!  She said he even grabbed the spoon to help put it in his little mouth.  Lol.  I'm sure adding some solids to his diet will get his weight up!

Here's Roman right after his first bites of some cereal.  Isn't he the cutest?
