6 Evansville Events For This Weekend!! (Don’t Be Bored)
It's rainy today, but that doesn't mean you can't get out and enjoy all the fun events our community has going on today! Here are six fun events for you to enjoy!
1 - Local Voices: Holly K. Dunn + Sole Survivor
Holly K. Dunn discusses her new book, Sole Survivor: The Inspiring True Story of Coming Face to Face with the Infamous Railroad Killer.There will be time after the presentation for questions, as well as the purchase and signing of books. From 2PM - 3:15PM at EVPL North Park
2 - Mended Little Hearts of Evansville Celebrity Scoopers
The Refinery in Newburgh Saturday, February 24th from 4:00-6:00 pm.
They will have MLH Celebrity Scoopers on-site!! 🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦All TIPS will be used to fund local services for CHD families in the tristate.
3 - The Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra 's Bach, Beethoven & Brahms
Victory Theatre, Saturday, February 24th at 7pm, featuring trump
Adult tickets start at $29 with no additional ticket fees and can be purchased by calling the Philharmonic Box Office at 812.425.5050 or by ordering online at evansvillephilharmonic.org.
4 - Family History Day at the Evansville African American Museum
Saturday, February 24th.
The event features two free workshops at the museum: Genealogy Workshop from 1-3 p.m. and How to Identify and Care for Family Photos Workshop from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
5 - Comedian Jim Gaffigan's "The Fixer Upper Tour"
Saturday, February 24th at 7pm and 9:30pm at Aiken Theatre Saturday.
Tickets are between $39.75 and $59.75 and available at the Old National Events Plaza box office or Ticketmaster outlets.
6 - Trumpeter and Flugelhornist Wade Baker
His jazz quintet in the next concert of the Jazz Guest Artist Concert Series,
The concert, at 4 p.m., is in Wheeler Concert Hall.
Admission to the concert is $15 for adults, $10 for Jazz Society members and $5 for students. Tickets will be available at the door or can be obtained by contacting the UE Department of Music at 812-488-2754.
