Yard Waste Service Begins April 2nd in Evansville
A lot of folks will spend the next weeks cleaning up their yards and getting them ready for spring and summer. That means lots of additional waste...grass clippings, weeds, shrubs, branches, etc.
To help make this process a little easier, the city of Evansville will once again provide 'Yard Waste' service from Monday, April 2nd through Friday, April 27th. During these four weeks, Republic Services will pick up unlimited bags or containers of yard waste along with the rest of their household waste on your normal trash pick-up day. Simply put your yard waste next to the trash cart provided by the city. Unlike in years past, no special bags are required due to the fact that this waste will be taken to a landfill. The yard waste needs to be properly contained in plastic bags, in tied bundles or loose in containers.
Please contact Republic Services at (812) 424-3345 if you need additional service.
