The question of when kids can trick or treat seems to come up every year. Halloween is on a Sunday this year, so parents really want to know if they can collect all that candy on Saturday.

According to a press release sent out from Mayor Winnecke and the Evansville Police Department, there are no set hours for trick or treating in the city of Evansville.

City of Princeton Trick or Treat Info

In the city of Princeton, there are set days and times for trick or treating. Saturday, October 30, and Sunday, October 31 from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM each day. If you are offering treats, don't forget to turn your porch light on.

Newburgh Trick or Treat Info

According to a social media post by the Newburgh Police Department, the 'Recommended' hours for Trick or Treating are Sunday, October 31, 2021, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Remind kids to cross the street at corners or crosswalks.
Carry glow sticks or flashlights and use reflective tape or stickers on costumes in order for kids to be seen.
Only visit homes that have their porch lights turned on.
Remind kids to not eat any candy until after they have come home for the evening and you had a chance to look it over.
