Wendell Foster Center Invites Public to Send Cards to Residents

What a wonderful service the Wendell Foster Center has provided Owensboro for the last 70 years. And the facility just keeps getting better and better.

Today, August 26th, 2020, the ribbon was cut on the center's brand new Latham Outpatient Therapy Facility.

Also on this day, the Wendell Foster Center posted, on its Facebook page, this request:

I think is an amazing idea, and I know the residents would absolutely love it.

You know, when I was a kid, my mom used to go down to the center on Friday evenings and I'd go with her.

She'd fix some dinner for some of the residents each week and then have a devotional and just chat. Then we'd watch TV. You know, make an evening of it.

Our family knew the Fosters very well. But that's not the only reason I've always had a special place in my heart for the Wendell Foster Center.

The miracles they've worked over the last seven decades speak for themselves and I, for one, couldn't be happier to see the progress unfold over the years.
