My Top Ten Basketball Movies Are a Slam Dunk

After hearing the exciting news that Indiana will host the entire 2021 NCAA Basketball Tournament, I couldn't help thinking about how important basketball is in Indiana, which led me to think about the movie HOOSIERS, which led me to think about other great basketball movies. Next thing you know I put together this here list.

Before you start reading, and disagreeing, let me just say that this list is based on movies that I've actually seen. I absolutely acknowledge that a movie like He Got Game or Hoop Dreams belongs on a list a great b-ball movies, but I've never seen them, so I can't really comment on them. Let me also say that I realize calling some of the following movies 'basketball movies' is a bit of a stretch. To that I say sorry, not sorry - this is my list, my choices.
