We are fortunate to have some really amazing organizations and volunteers who just want to make sure that no one goes hungry. The Tri-State Food Bank is an amazing resource, and you can find mobile food distribution events on social media.

Most families look forward to summertime while others, who are less fortunate, do not. I can’t imagine the stress some families feel of having to come up with extra money to keep extra food in the house while the kiddos are home for summer break for the next 8 weeks or so. While there are programs out there specially aimed at helping with this, IGA wants to help too. DO NOT GO HUNGRY! If you need something to eat for your kiddos and you cannot make it to one of the other programs in town, for any reason, come by IGA and we will provide you, a peanut butter sandwich, a small bag of chips, and bottled water at no charge!
