Police Need Help Solving Fatal Hit and Run

23 year old David Michael Egan of Evansville was the victim of a hit and run Friday night. The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to identify the driver and vehicle that hit him.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office is requesting that anyone who might have witnessed the suspect vehicle or driver from the fatal hit and run on I-69 last night contact the Sheriff's Office.

Residents, business owners and property managers are asked to review their security camera footage from 10:45 PM onward. No description of the suspect vehicle is currently available, but the vehicle will have damage to the front end. The suspect vehicle likely fled south (west) on I-69 toward the direction of US 41.

The Vanderburgh County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 23-year-old David William Egan of Evansville.
