Pet of the Week – THEO Might Just Be Your Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow
Meet THEO, our adoptable Pet of the Week from It Takes a Village. Take him home and we'll even throw in the bow tie, and maybe even the rainbow.
THEO is a 7-year-old mixed breed who has been a popular boy ever since ITV started their rent-a-dog program. Through those dates, THEO has found a love for hiking, and he just smiles from ear to ear when he's riding to his date destination. THEO has enjoyed his dates so much that he is now dreaming of hiking and getting loved by his forever human. THEO jumps with joy when visitors greet him at the shelter, but he will also sit for a treat and is very motivated to learn when a snack is involved! It Takes a Village tells us that THEO needs a home that does NOT have other dogs and/or young children.
We'd love for you to meet THEO - you never know, you might just find him to be your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! Fill out an online adoption application, and then schedule a visit to ITV. THEO's adoption fee is $175.
And as always, if our pet of the week isn’t the right fit for your home, please visit It Takes a Village to see the other rescues that need to get fostered and adopted. Keep in mind that It Takes a Village is still in need of fosters for mommas and litters. It's puppy season at ITV.
All of the animals at ITV are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and FIV/FeLV-tested.
ITV is open during regular hours. However, they have received so much support and interest over shut down, that they are still working diligently to review all correspondences. They appreciate everyone’s patience as they find the best matches for their rescues.
