New Business Coming to the Old Wok N Roll Building in Evansville
On Green River Road just south of the Lloyd Expressway sits a vacant building, that is about to get new life. The building was once a Captain D's and also Wok N Roll. While I very much miss the delicious food Wok N Roll served up, I am happy to see that new life is coming to this building.

According to Evansville 411 we can expect something totally different from Wok N Roll and Captain D's to come to this location. El Paisano is a taqueria and Mexican grocery market, that has a location in Carbondale, Illinois. They'll now be opening a second location in Evansville. Here's the post from Evansville 411:

According to the Site Review Committee meeting agenda for Tuesday, January 18, El Paisano is planning to open up a restaurant at 311 South Green River Road. This building is the former home of Wok N Roll and Captain D's.Details are limited at this time on this forthcoming project.
El Paisano is a taqueria and Mexican grocery market located at 225 South Green River Road in Evansville. The business currently has one additional location in Carbondale, Illinois.
I'm definitely excited to give El Paisano a try! It's great to see a variety of food offerings coming to the Evansville area.
