Last year Kentucky collected almost 5 tons of prescription medications.

According to the DEA, all solid dosage pharmaceutical products and liquids in consumer containers will be accepted.  Liquid products, such as cough syrup, should remain sealed in original containers.

Intravenous solutions, injectables and syringes will not be accepted due to potential hazard posed by blood-borne pathogens.

Drop off your outdated prescription drugs this Saturday from 10 am - 2 pm at Kentucky State Police Post #16, 8298 Keach Drive, Henderson, KY 42420 and these other locations.
