Alanna is a Coon hound mix female. She came to It Takes a Village as a rescue, pregnant and delivered 10 puppies-of which 9 are thriving. They are now old enough to be separated and are going to foster homes as applications are approved. It's time that this caring "Momma" gets to lose the huge responsibilities of such a large litter and JUST be a dog.

She needs a foster home to chill in while they get her vetting set up and get her status moved to ADOPTABLE. She's a sweet large breed pup, does well on a leash, loves kids and deserves to be pampered for a while.  Alanna tends to love kitties a bit too much but looks forward to a meet and greet with any canines in your home.

Lets reward Alanna for her super star mother skills by walking her out of the rescue door to a loving foster home. An approved foster who gets through the foster protocol smoothly will absolutely get first chance to adopt this long eared gal! ITV will be certain Alanna never again has the burden of another litter~ can YOU supply the love, training and stable foster home this beauty deserves?
