Michael Rosenbaum is in the New Superman Movie (Sort of)

The new Superman movie, written and directed by James Gunn is getting some really great reviews after only a few special screenings. Our friend and Newburgh native Michael Rosenbaum was at the red carpet premiere in Hollywood. So, does that mean he is actually in the movie?

Will the Real Lex Luthor Please Stand Up

Fans of Smallville will be happy to know that even though Michael Rosenbaum is not Lex Luthor in this new Superman movie, he does approve of Nicholas Hoult. It's really cool to know that Michael was Nicholas's first time seeing anyone portray Lex Luthor on Smallville! Nicholas Hoult talked about it with Entertainment Weekly:

"He was probably the first person I saw play Luthor when I was growing up. So to get to interact with him and to chat with him beforehand was really special. I appreciate that from him, his time, but also just his encouragement meant a lot."

So, Is Michael Rosenbaum in The New Superman Movie?

Full transparency, I have seen Superman, and I knew that Michael would have a small voice role. He is credited as Raptor Guard #1.
