Mayor Stephanie Terry Shares Strategic Plan for City Government
Evansville’s Mayor Stephanie Terry has shared a bold and forward-thinking Strategic Plan designed to guide the city’s government toward greater efficiency, transparency, and innovation. Created in partnership with Crowe LLP and informed by input from nearly 800 residents, as well as city officials and employees, the plan outlines a clear roadmap for the city’s future.
Evansville residents can look forward to a more efficient and responsive city government, modernized technology, improved infrastructure, and enhanced public spaces.
A Framework for Progress
The Strategic Plan is described as a “guiding framework” aimed at improving how Evansville’s government operates. According to Mayor Terry, the plan emphasizes accountability, resource allocation, and alignment with the community’s priorities.
“This Strategic Plan serves as both a roadmap and a management tool, helping to align our leaders, resources, and operations with our shared mission and vision,” said Mayor Terry. “At its core, the plan emphasizes efficient government operations, the strengthening of public services, and the commitment to making those services more accessible and responsive to all residents.”

Four Core Focus Areas
The Strategic Plan identifies four key areas of focus for Evansville’s city government:

- Address Core Technology Needs
- Improve Public Transportation Experience
