Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry Announces Next Traveling City Hall Details
Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry announced details for the second Traveling City Hall of 2026. The next chance to meet with city officials is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2026. This time, the meeting will take place at Potter's Wheel (333 Jefferson Ave) from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. It’s another great opportunity for residents to get involved.
What Is Traveling City Hall
As the name suggests, “Traveling City Hall” is when our local government hits the road to meet you where you are, instead of expecting you to come downtown. It’s all about making city leadership more accessible, approachable, and connected to the community.
Mayor Terry says it best…
We’re creating more ways for residents to connect with their city government. Traveling City Hall is about being present in our neighborhoods, listening, and making sure people feel heard and informed.
What To Expect During The Meeting
The evening will kick off with a quick update from the Mayor’s Office, giving you a snapshot of what’s happening around Evansville. After that you’ll have the chance to chat one-on-one with department heads and city staff. It’s your chance to ask questions, share concerns, or just learn more about the services available to you.
Why This Event Matters For Residents
Got an issue in your neighborhood? Curious about upcoming projects? Want to better understand how decisions are made? This is the place to do it, all in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

It should go without saying, but I’m gonna say it anyway – Traveling City Hall is free and open to everyone. There’s no need to sign up…just show up!
