'November' presented by Think PINK opens Friday at 7:30 p.m. also Saturday 7:30 p.m., 6 p.m. Sunday at Studio 321.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by calling 812-456-8719 or at the door one hour before the performance. Seating is limited, so purchasing in advance is recommended.

This show has political and adult themes with some strong language and is not recommended for audiences younger than mature teenagers.

Elton John and his band return to Evansville Saturday at the Ford Center as part of a six-city concert tour featuring iconic hits and classics from his five-decade career. They'll also be playing some selections from John's latest release, "Wonderful Crazy Night."

Concert is at 8 p.m. Saturday, single ticket sales still available at ticketmaster.com.

Empty Bowls: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Sauced, 1113 Parrett St.

More than 1,000 ceramic bowls made by volunteers from around the community and USI students will be on sale Saturday during the 2017 Empty Bowls Evansville.

bowls are available for a $10 donation, which includes gourmet soup, bread and beverages provided by local restaurants and businesses proceeds donating charities assisting Evansville’s homeless population.

Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra presents 'La Traviata' 7 p.m. Saturday at the Victory.

Adult tickets start at $39 with no additional ticket fees and can be purchased by calling the Philharmonic Box Office at 812-425-5050 or by ordering online at evansvillephilharmonic.org.

Train show,

The Evansville Train Show Club will sponsor a model train show on Saturday. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s UCC, 2227 West Michigan St.

Show proceeds, after covering expenses, go to St. Paul's for their youth ministry. Admission is $3 for adults and 12 and under free.

The show will include an operating layout and play area for kids as well as dozens of dealers from around the Midwest offering train related items in all scales and sizes.

Special features include an operating Lego layout, Lego sets for sale, a Thomas the Train dealer and a chance to run your Lionel engine on the show's big layout. A child in attendance will win a new Lionel train set.
