‘Lion King’ Trailer Is Second-Biggest Disney Debut Ever

Disney has us eagerly waiting for the re-boot of Lion King. The live-action/ CGI film doesn't even hit theatres till next summer but the world has responded with excitement as the trailer reached a record-breaking 224.6 million global views in 24 hours!

James Earl Jones is returning as the iconic Mufasa. The new star-studded cast; Donald Glover, Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner are all set to voice familiar roles, as Simba, Pumbaa, and Timon. Beyoncé as Nala is the addition to the cast that takes it to the next level.

Disney has a few other remakes in the pipeline for 2019, including Dumbo and Lady and the Tramp. So smart Disney, I will go for the memories of my childhood and taking my kids so they can experience it too. The trailer looks absolutely incredilble.

The Lion King is set to release July 2019.
