A Good Shepherd student is in custody after making online threats against the school. 

Today on Facebook the Evansville Police Department released a statement about a juvenile being in custody after this person made threats against an Evansville school. Police say that the juvenile is a student at Good Shepherd and made threats online to shoot people at the school.  The threats were reported, and the police have taken that student into custody.

Juvenile in custody for making online threats directed at Good Shepard Catholic School—

Evansville Police have taken a Good Shepard Catholic School student into custody after he made threats to shoot people at the school.
Police were notified of the threats on Monday night and the suspect was taken into custody on Tuesday morning. The investigation is ongoing.
Evansville Police are again reminding people that all threats will be taken seriously and those who make them will be charged to the fullest extent of the law.

We thank EPD for their quick work in identifying the person behind the threats, and to the people who notified the police about the online threats. Please remember to never take these kinds of threats lightly, and always report them to the authorities.
